John Paul is running to make sure every hard working family is able to succeed in the same way his family did. 

 

John Paul and his wife, were high-school sweethearts, who married and started a family young, working minimum wage jobs while putting each other through college. John Paul has lived the experience of hard work, grit and determination to make a life for his family and wants to work to ensure all hard working families in the 11th District have the same opportunities for the American dream as he and he wife were afforded. 

 

John Paul and his wife, Anna, have proudly raised their two daughters in Waterford for over 27 years. Their oldest daughter is a civil attorney, suing corporations on behalf of those wrong by the system and their youngest is in middle school aspiring to change the world. John Paul wants to ensure that all children in the 11th District have the tools and resources they need to succeed in order to build their futures.

 

Their journey together is a story of love, sacrifice, and hard work-just the same as many in the district. John Paul knows the plight of working hard, against a system that is set up to favor the wealthy and corporations. When sent to Washington John Paul will work to push back the Trump Era tax cuts to the wealthy, invest in social programs that benefit our community, work to ensure Medicare for all, support the Green New Deal and work toward immigration reform.

John Paul is a stanch supporter of the working class, and wholeheartedly supports labor unions. John Paul is the child of two former UAW union organizers. He grew up in the union hall supporting the fight of the union for a living wage and workplace protections. He grew up canvassing and working to elect candidates that represented and fought for our shared values.
